THIS is the horrifying moment petrified kids were stranded more than 100ft in the air after a carnival ride broke down.
Shocking video footage shows two helpless kids suspended in the 115ft air with a further two closer to the ground at the Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre after the gearbox of the ride - called Freestyle - malfunctioned. Organisers took the decision to shut the carnival for the rest of the day, blaming the ride's issue on a faulty gearbox.
