Further heavy rainfall and a suspected mini tornado in Littlehampton have led to more flood warnings along the south coast. Residents reported phenomenal winds causing damage to buildings and gardens. No injuries were reported, but homeowners are having to repair roofs and gardens. The annual bonfire and parade in Littlehampton had to be cancelled. The Environment Agency predicts further flooding in Hampshire, Sussex, Dorset, and the Isle of Wight this weekend.
More flood warnings have been issued along parts of the south coast, amid further heavy rainfall, and a suspected mini tornado in Littlehampton.Residents spoke of phenomenal winds hitting properties between 6 and 7pm.
And James Stephenson posted footage of the tornado hitting his garden, his ring camera footage showing the moment the winds hit.
