BREAKING: More than 1,000 people have been evacuated from central London after a gas main ruptured.
LondonThe London Fire Brigade was called to the City of London during rush hour after a 24-inch main ruptured.
At least 1,300 people have been evacuated from the area, and it is unclear when they will be able to return.The London Fire Brigade Tweeted: ‘Around 1,300 people have been evacuated due to the 24-inch gas main that has ruptured on Seething Lane junction of Crutched Friars.Their earlier tweet read: ‘Firefighters are attending a ruptured gas main on Seething Lane at the junction of Crutched Fryers Lane in the City of London.
