'She knows she will get a lot of abuse': Mother of murdered toddler WILL be welcomed back after prison, says grandfather... but not by all
The mother of a murdered toddler who is behind bars will be welcomed back by her grandfather when she completes her prison sentence - but other family members may not follow his example.
Mr Fawcett, of Baildon, Bradford, places the blame for Star's death firmly on Brockhill and calls her 'the monster'. Mr Fawcett says he, Frankie and Star were very close and, in his opinion, Frankie was a victim of Brockhill's lies and manipulative behaviour. He visits Frankie in jail about twice a month but speaks to her on the phone every day.
Mr Fawcett said: "If she gets down to her final year and is moved to Askham Grange , she is allowed home at weekends then. I will probably meet up with her and spend a bit of time. "I always give her a hug when I visit her. She knows that I have always stood by her. She always stuck by me. We were always close."
"She rings me every day. She is obsessed with music. Frankie is into Elvis and The Beatles like she is in a time warp. She has The Rubettes and Bay City Rollers ."
