Stuart Kettlewell says the defender could be out long-term with a 'significant' injury
Stuart Kettlewell fears that Motherwell defender Pape Souare is out wit a “significant” ankle injury sustained in a bounce game on Sunday.
But he says injured trio Calum Butcher, Jon Obika and Mika Biereth could play a part in Saturday’s home Premiership match against Ross County.“We’ll not go into too many details, because we’re going through that process of scans, x-rays, etc, but from the Sunday, that was probably the major negative that comes about.
“It’s an ankle injury. It would be wrong of me to start telling you what it is, or a period of time until I’ve got that from the experts.” More sports news from across Lanarkshire “Calum is back in the squad, he would have been back in the squad on Saturday as well, and he knows where he is. “This weekend, would we see him being able to play 90 minutes? I wouldn’t have thought so, again just a bit of respect for the time he has been out, but he is training to a really good level.”
