The Inverness-shire biker was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal smash
A 65-year-old man who died after his motorbike was involved in a collision in the Highlands has been named as Andrew McIntyre.
The road was closed for seven hours after the crash, which happened at around 11.10am on Saturday April 15. Following the tragedy police have issued an appeal for information in order to ascertain the full circumstances of the collision. Sergeant Doug Scott, of the Highland and Islands Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with Mr McIntyre’s family and friends at this difficult time. Our investigation to establish what led to this collision is ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch if you haven’t yet spoken to an officer.
