The grandmother saw no issue with her demands
A mother has been blasted for not allowing her daughter to sleep in the same room as her wife when visiting the family home. The mum, who does enforce the same rule when her son and his wife come to visit, saw no issue with the demand.
And when the frustrated couple refused to stay with the mum during their visit, she headed online to plead her case - but was met with fierce criticism. "My daughter told my daughter-in-law to arrange for a hotel. I was really hurt by her decision and said I hoped she'd just stay and it was a few days. She said she hadn't slept apart from her wife for the past nine years and wasn't going to start doing that now. They left and stayed at the hotel."
One user wrote: "They are a married couple. Why are you trying to dictate whether or not they sleep next to each other?" questioned one responder. "I would've got a hotel if I was them too!"
