Gillian Hope was visiting her 79-year-old dad when they heard a knock on the door at about 10.15pm on December 22
A mum has been left terrified, waking up in fear every morning after a gang randomly targeted her disabled dad's house.
Moments later, the father and daughter heard a smash after thugs threw a stone through the front room window. Gillian immediately called the police, but by this time her dad, Richard, had opened the door with three men shouting "pay the f***ing money back".In fear, Gillian locked the door and waited for the police to arrive while the men sat outside in a white car. Gillian noticed afterwards that more windows had been smashed or cracked.
"We don't feel safe anymore at all. I'm doing the best I can to carry on and support my dad but I'm just so exhausted after this. Gillian said they have received support from neighbours and others that live in his tightknit community on Gathurst Lane, Shevington. "My dad has lived there for 45 years, he's very well known and loved in the village, he's a local celebrity with the record breaking sunflowers he's grown on the house," she added.
