After working tirelessly to make money and get her own studies complete, she too joined her son in the UK starting off her career with a quiet café in Bamber Bridge.

Shortly after setting up her new home in Lancashire, Nurcan opened up her first café, The Delphine, which provided her with a taste of the industry in the UK. Setting up a new business in a new country brings its own challenges but mixed with the devastating impacts during the pandemic, Nurcan still had to keep her options open.

The small but jampacked stall was unmissable in the market hall with a vast variety different sweets and chocolate to chose from. But even this stall didn't scratch the surface of Nurcan's desire to run a successful café which lead her to opening her latest business- Nurcan's Cafe.
