A woman was found dead at Disneyland in California after she appeared to have 'jumped or fallen' from a parking structure.
A woman died after falling from a parking structure belonging to Disneyland in Orange County, California Police officers responded to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure around 6.50pm on Saturday after receiving reports that someone had ‘jumped or fallen’ from it, according toThe arriving officers found an adult woman on the ground and provided medical aid until emergency personnel got to the scene. She was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
She has been identified as Marney Schoenfeld, 46, of Scottsdale, Arizona, an Orange County Coroner’s Office spokesman said.It was not immediately clear if Schoenfeld was a guest at the theme park in Anaheim.‘She was a loving mother to her daughter, Sydney,’ Randy Schoenfeld told the. ‘She was a caring wife to me. She was a talented hairstylist of 23 years and her clients loved her.’
An investigation into Schoenfeld’s death is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Anaheim Police Department.It is not the first death at the car park, which has a capacity of 10,000 vehicles and is one of the biggest in the US. The seven-story structure opened in 2000 and three men died from falls from 2010 to 2016.
In December, a man in his 50s had a fatal fall off the structure. Cops said it was likely that he killed himself, reported. He was identified as Chris Christensen, a principal at Newland Elementary School in Huntington Beach.
