In text that appears across the clip, stunned Gina wrote: "Thought I was seeing things" with a panicked emoji. She also added to the caption "Help!!!!!!" to the video, which features Michael Bublé's version It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas playing in the background. Another TikTok user joked: "I would have destroyed they whole tree in a panic" whilst someone else said that the discovery would have caused them to "faint". However, others expressed concerned for the mouse and urged the mum not to harm it when she removed it from the tree.
Gina later posted a follow-up video where she wrote: "No mouse was harmed in the making of this video he's safely outside now with my Christmas tree" with a laughing emoji.
