The school pupil was playing netball when she claims she accidentally burped
A mum has been left raging after her daughter got an 'unfair' detention for accidently burping in her PE class.She says she quickly looked around to see if any of her classmates had noticed, when she caught her teacher's attention. Already embarrassed over what happened, she said the teacher ordered her out of the class, saying it was "bad manners".
"When she got in, I asked her why and she told me she had been at a 20 minute after school detention for burping in PE while playing netball in the gym." While most users shared their shock over the "over-the-top punishment", others urged her to speak to the PE teacher to better understand her reasoning behind it.
