Emma Armstrong is desperate to get her hand on Aldi's organic spaghetti bolognese Mamia baby food for her five-year-old, Libby Crossfield.
A mum is making a frantic bid to find the only food her autistic daughter will eat. Emma Armstrong is desperate to get her hand on Aldi's organic spaghetti bolognese Mamia baby food, which is one of the very few things that her five-year-old, Libby Crossfield, can manage.
Emma, 35, is now facing the same issue, with supplies running low. Libby is on an urgent waiting list to have a feeding tube fitted into her stomach, and it is crucial that she continues eating ahead of the operation. "The purpose of the tube is to give us more freedom to explore as we can’t push very hard at the moment for the fear that she will completely stop eating. She will probably have it for a few years but if her eating improves they will be able to remove it."
