WARNING: Distressing images. Janine Waters is now too afraid to walk down the road
Janine Waters was walking down Windsor Road in Southport at around 9.30pm on Tuesday when she felt something start to gnaw on her leg. The 39-year-old was left in shock when she looked down to see what she claimed was a "massive" German shepherd type dog attacking her.
The mum says the incident has been an emotional strain on her well-being and she also adds that she will never walk down that road again. Janine was unable to make it to work as a result of her injuries."I was walking to work without a care in the world and the next thing I was on the floor with this dog on my leg," Janine told the ECHO. "It was a massive dog and did not realise how bad it was until I got home and checked my injuries.
However, a terrified Janie declined as the pet continued to growl and bark at her so she left the street immediately.
