Police Scotland are treating the death of 52-year-old Alastair Campbell as murder following the results of a post mortem.
A murder probe has been launched after the death of a man in Renfrew. Police are hunting two suspects who fled the scene after Alastair Campbell was allegedly found with serious injuries in a close of flats on Renfield Street at around 3am on Monday.
“The two suspects then ran off along Wilson Street towards Houston Street in Renfrew Town Centre. We believe both men to be white; one was wearing a dark tracksuit and dark trainers, and the other had on either a light grey or khaki jacket, dark trousers and dark trainers.
