A MURDER investigation has been launched after a 63-year-old man was attacked by three men posing as Border Agency officers.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the horror attack, which occurred on Highfield Road, Wellingborough, on November 25.The victim was attacked between 8.45PM and 10PM after he answered the door to three males wearing black, purporting to be from the Border Agency.The 63-year-old victim was taken to hospital where he sadly died 17 days later on the morning of Monday, December 12.
It is unknown if the suspects were using a vehicle, and officers appealing to anyone who may have witnessed three people in the area at the time knocking on doors.
