Police are probing how the man's body ended up in the ravineThe victim has been identified as Juan José VJ from Santa Lucia de Tirajana, a town further inland, local news outletHe was found in a waterway channel at the bottom of a five metre drop, near the coastal highway between Tauro and Taurito.
There were "various injuries" on his body, but police have yet to determine whether these could have been the result of an assault or an accidental fall.Read more World News
