The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series had planned to stage its first-ever race on ice in March, but the Finnish event has now been put on hold due to global supply-chain issues ⬇️
The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series announced in October that it would unofficially kick off its 2023 season on 4-5 March in Rovaniemi, Finland,The series, however, announced Tuesday it has indefinitely postponed the new NASCAR Arctic Ice Race.
“It is really unfortunate and we feel sorry for all the NASCAR fans eagerly waiting for this event to take place,” Galpin said.
