Nate Diaz lands massive slap during scuffle with Conor McGregor's training partner
Nate Diaz landed a massive slap during a scuffle with Conor McGregor’s training partner, Dillon Danis, in the immediate aftermath of UFC 281.
The MMA legend was caught on camera getting into it with Danis – who is known for trolling fighters online – outside Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday night.MMA manager Audie Attar was in the middle of the two men and seemingly doing a good job of calming the situation down before an unknown man chimed in, prompting an angry reaction from Diaz who slapped him.
The crowd that had gathered gasped as the scuffle threatened to get violent but both fighters ultimately went their separate ways, and no one got physically hurt – although Danis’ friends’ pride may have been slightly dented. Danis, who is 2-0 in MMA and hasn’t fought since June 2019, took to social media after the incident to suggest he landed a smack of his own during the melee. This is the second time in recent weeks that Diaz has delivered one of his famous ‘Stockton Slaps’ in public after he got into it with Jake Paul’s team ahead of the YouTuber’s fight with UFC icon Anderson Silva.who had been teaching Paul about mediation and was a part of the team for the Silva fight.
