NBA star Larry Nance Jr has been blown away by Leeds United teenager Archie Gray
Archie Gray has already won a host of new admirers this season with his performances for Leeds United. The teenager has been thrust into the Leeds first team by manager Daniel Farke, with the Whites having to depend on the 17-year-old sue to a lack of midfield options prior to the transfer window closing.
The 30-year-old former NBA first-round draft pick says it's shocking how goo Gray is for a player of his age, and has revealed he text the player after his full debut to send his best wishes. Speaking on the Leeds That Podcast Nance jr said; “My view of sports is a little different because I look at it through a lens of an athlete so I cannot imagine being on that big of a stage, I can’t even fathom. The fact that he’s doing what he’s doing and just looks so composed is shocking because at 17 I was playing dodgeball in gym clubs.
