Neighbours horrified as two left fighting for life after triple stabbing in block of flats
Police were called to the estate in Halliwell, Bolton following the terrifying attack at 4am yesterday .
"No-one could really tell but it was obviously serious and to hear it was three people stabbed is scary. It's not nice to think about at all, especially with lots of kids around here." Another nearby resident awoken by the sound of sirens said: "It's horrible. It seems to be every Friday and Saturday night that something's happening around here.
Police have sought to reassure residents that this incident represents no wider threat to the community. Superintendent Mark Kenny said: "This was a serious assault, but I would like to reassure residents that we have taken swift action to identify and arrest the suspect.
