After mastering the Little Black Dress, Dojaka is getting into wardrobe basics.
, pregnant and radiant in a holographic, clear sequin dress. “I really wanted to make it a bit more – not just so young and street, but maybe a bit more elegant,” Dojaka says of her most recent collection, shown earlier this year in London, “and a bit more for different ages. Not just little minidresses.”, the e-commerce retailer owned by LVMH.
“I’m very happy that we didn’t just do all black,” she laughs, “which we have become kind of known for.”Instead, Dojaka works through shades of ivory, beige, and caramel in a collection that expands her oeuvre into blouses, shorts and trousers. “I really wanted to experiment with a neutral palette for a long time; I think it makes the clothes much lighter. Maybe they feel a bit more delicate even,” she says.
