Henry Cavill will return as Geralt of Rivia for one more season
Netflix has confirmed the release date for season three of The Witcher and teased fans with its first trailer. The hit fantasy-drama – based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s books of the same name – sees Superman star Henry Cavill back for a third outing as monster hunter Geralt of Rivia.
The upcoming series will mark Cavill’s final appearance as Geralt following the announcement that Liam Hemsworth will take over the role from season four.“Now, for the first time, I understand real fear,” Cavill says in the trailer, that also gives glimpses of the Wild Hunt, Rience, and several other villains.
