Nick and Charlie fresh face challenges as they embrace their relationship in season two
Netflix has finally released the hotly-anticipated official trailer for joyously queer teen series Heartstopper.
Season one ended as Charlie, played by Joe Locke, and Nick Nelson, portrayed by Kit Connor decided to officially become boyfriends during a sweet date to the beach. Throughout the series Charlie, although supported by his friends and family, faced homophobia from boys at school. And as he became closer with Nick, Charlie struggled as Nick eventually became targeted by the nasty bullies.
Meanwhile Elle, played by Manchester's very own Yasmin Finney, navigates her own feelings for her friend Tao, played by William Gao. The sparks are flying, but the pair are anxious to risk their friendship for love. "If this doesn't work out then I lose my best friend in the whole world," Tao says in the trailer.
