The new footage shows Gary with another man
The family of a Renfrew man who went missing in Lanzarote has revealed that Spanish investigators have discovered new CCTV footage.
Authorities gave their last update in June stating that a fresh search was being carried out in the area he went missing. But now his family say Spanish police have discovered previously unseen footage of Gary with another man, which officials intend to release. "The police contacted us on Friday to say the footage showed Gary with another man and they are unsure if this is a brief encounter or more. They were looking to get it released to the press.
"It's been the hardest months of our lives, we are a very close family and we just can't make sense of anything. There's just been radio silence since Gary disappeared." "We're trying to keep his name and face out there but with the little information we are getting it's hard to keep anyone updates," Darcie continued.
"However, Spanish police have now told us that they have CCTV of Gary with another man and they are unsure if this is a brief encounter or more."They have told us that this footage will be released to the press to try to identify the man and hopefully this will get us more answers on what happened to Gary."
