Around £100,000 would be invested in the property
A new cafe and wine bar is set to be opened in Shawlands by a “well kent face in the Glasgow licensed trade”.
Board members heard how he has plans to turn the building, across from Co-op, into “a neighbourhood wine bar and cafe venue”.They were told around £100,000 would be invested in the property and an estimated 14 jobs would be created. He said his client would “hopefully bring it back to life again” and was seeking “to introduce a licensed premises, under the working name of ‘Carousel’”.
“He also opened Tabac on Mitchell Lane and Bananamoon, to name a few. He is a very successful operator of well known names within Glasgow's licensed trade scene.”
