A new Indian restaurant in the city centre is now allowed to offer alcoholic beverages to its customers.
The agent told the committee how they would be happy to comply with any licensing condition that would prevent disturbing upstairs neighbours. The restaurateurs even stated they will have security door staff after 10pm in order to prevent disorder. Other licensing decisions made At the meeting held on August 21, the sub-committee also decided to grant King Street Grooming permission to play live music and sell alcohol for their Pride Event. The King Street salon has planned a pre-Pride event in aid of the George House Trust where they will offer alcoholic and soft drinks as part of the ticket entry price, the committee heard.
