Darwin Nunez to personally reimburse Liverpool fans after being handed new number LFC
Darwin Nunez has revealed his new shirt number at Liverpool, and will personally reimburse fans with his old No.27.Nunez has taken the new numberfans had already been buying their newly-released 2023/24 shirt with Nunez and the number 27 on the back, but will now be offered an exchange.
The club said: “Fans who have already purchased new 2023-24 home and away jerseys printed with the name ‘Darwin’ and the number ‘27’ will be personally reimbursed by Nunez with a like-for-like exchange for a ‘Darwin 9’ shirt.” Nunez himself also commented on taking a number worn by legendary strikers such as Robbie Fowler, Ian Rush and Fernando Torres.read more on liverpool“Honestly, previously other players represented this number really well and now it’s my turn to wear it.
