The YO! Sushi restaurant opened today and will offer a full menu of sushi and tasty Japanese food. As well as its very own dish that celebrates Liverpool, known as the 'Scouse Sushi', the restaurant also has a link to the Everton midfielder.
Everton footballer and ChopValue UK director, Tom Davies, said: "It's our mission to leave no chopstick behind and this partnership with YO! is a massive opportunity to save tonnes of chopsticks going into landfill and instead giving them a new life. It's important that we all take steps to protect the future of this planet and I feel we all have a role to play in that.
The new Speke restaurant will include a full menu of sushi and fresh Japanese food where sushi fans can dine in, click and collect or have it delivered. Midfielder Tom Davies is hoping to save millions of chopsticks to "give them a second life".
