Two days of further strike action have been announced for September and October
Train drivers have announced two more days of strike action this year falling in September and October.
As part of the strike staff at 16 train companies will walk out as part of the long-running dispute over pay and working conditions, reports Mirror Online.The fresh strike dates are also set to cause chaos for the Tory conference which kicks off in Manchester on Sunday, October 1. The majority of attendees are expected to travel to it on Saturday September 30. The conference will go on until October 4, when people will rely on trains to then get home.
As well as strike action Aslef will also be undertaking an overtime ban across the UK rail network on Friday September 29 and from Monday 2 to Friday 6 of October.
