The food and drink destination will feature a food hall and street kitchens making it the largest of its kind in Greater Manchester
A huge new waterfront food and drink destination, with a host of food traders and restaurants, has revealed more details about its gastronomic line-up. It is part of Called Central Bay, the new Salford Quays hub spread over 25,000 sq ft, with space for 600 people.
As well as kitchens and bars, the development will also boast ‘indie markets’, pop-up events, live music performances and recreation space for kids.Matt Bigland, founder and CEO at Blend Family said: “We take great pride in curating exciting culinary experiences for people and this is one of the most exciting line-ups of world food we’ve ever put together.
Other food operators confirmed include Didsbury favourite's Baity Palestinian Kitchen, Bab K Korean kitchen, and two Chinese eateries called Chuan Chuan and Tang - the latter of which will serve a 'numbing' hot soup. New vendors completing the line-up include Wong Dumplings, Thatziki and Rottu Kadai Dosa. As well as a full-service bar and microbrewery, diners will be able to grab a coffee from Locale Coffee and a bubble tea from Boba Cha.
