Mr Anderson sadly passed away at the end of last year
Mr Neil Anderson was highly respected former teacher, depute head and acting headteacher at Dedridge Primary School.
He sadly passed away in December last year and tributes poured in for him on social media from former pupils and colleagues, who said he had “a natural affinity for teaching and made all pupils feel special.” Mr Anderson started at Dedridge Primary in 1988 as a class teacher he then went onto be deputy head teacher and also was acting head teacher for a short while.
Leader of West Lothian Council Lawrence Fitzpatrick said: “Mr Anderson was very well known and liked within the school community, and renaming the community wing is a lovely tribute to Mr Anderson and his family.”
