The Newcastle United Women’s team are in action today in an FA Women’s National League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest Women.‘Due to a waterlogged pitch at Gateshead International Stadium, Newcastle United Women’s FA Women’s National League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest Women will not be able to be played at that venue on Sunday afternoon as originally scheduled.

However, as Nottingham Forest had already embarked on their journey to the North East, and were keen to get the fixture played, Newcastle United, with FA approval, have managed to source an alternative venue to host the fixture.Newcastle United apologises for this late rearrangement and thanks all supporters for their understanding.
