The former shop, which is housed inside a three-bed property, is looking a little worse for wear but has the potential to be transformed by its new owners
An old newsagents has come on the market in Greater Manchester and it's the ultimate project for anyone looking to take on a big renovation. The former shop - named 'Village Newsagents' - is found in the quaint village of Diggle in Oldham, which sits on the moorlands of the Pennine hills.
Despite being stuck in the past, the property does have potential though, with estate agents saying it could be of interest 'to investors, builders and speculators'. Auction House Manchester says: "Located in the popular village location of Diggle, this traditional through terrace is likely to prove to be of interest to investors, builders and speculators, etc.
The auction house also states that the £90,000 guide price is not necessarily what the property will sell for when it goes to auction.
