Testing and condoms are freely available across the Glasgow NHS area.
The NHS health board are taking action following a rise in gonorrhoea cases across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region.
Gonorrhoea is an STI that can lead to serious health issues if left untreated and to combat the rise, NHSGGC is raising awareness for its free condom service that is on offer to anyone in the area to help promote safe sex practices and reduce the spread of STIs.
Nicky added: “We encourage anyone who is sexually active to use condoms and get tested regularly for STIs. Early detection and treatment of infections such as gonorrhoea can prevent any health complications and reduce the spread of infection.
