'We were scared, helpless and devastated beyond words'
The parents of a young child who was diagnosed with cancer after feeling unwell have spoke of the moment their world was turned upside down.
"Our cancer journey started during the school summer holidays in 2022 when we were looking forward to a few weeks of fun and family time together," Martin said. "He underwent gruelling treatment and showed so much bravery and maturity in facing something no child should have to." "We are hosting a charity ball on the October 7 in aid of four amazing children's cancer charities - Cancer Fund For Children, The Children's Cancer Unit Charity, Young Lives vs Cancer and Angels Wishes.
