'We are hoping the song can be shared everywhere, to offer comfort to anyone who has an empty seat at the Christmas dinner table.'

A group of schoolchildren have come together to launch a charity single in memory of those who lost their lives in the Cresslough tragedy.

Ten people lost their lives - including a five-year-old girl and her father - when an Applegreen service station exploded in Creeslough, Co Donegal on October 7.The Derry school group - which is made up of P7 pupils Cherish, Lilybeth, Kaci Elee, Anais, Aldara, Mia and Roisin - are hoping to raise £1000 for the families in the run-up to Christmas

"And we have to thank the Nerve Centre who invited the girls down on a Friday morning to record the track and without them, we wouldn't have been able to release it."
