Newcastle plan to spend 'as much as they can' within reason to comply with the Premier League's Financial Fair Play regulations
“We’ve got to savour this moment because we’ve got to the Champions League,” he said.
“We’ve all seen at other football clubs it isn’t just the amount of money you spend, it’s how you spend it. The weekend game [at Chelsea] is a perfect example of that. “The reality is we’re always going to spend what we can under Financial Fair Play and that’s a great thing. I can say hand on heart the club will always be doing its best to get to where we want to get to.“It’s unbelievable to see what Eddie Howe has done with the squad, how he’s galvanised them. We’ve got a great pair of hands there with Eddie, he’s just unbelievable.”
