Niddrie riots see gangs of feral youths throw fireworks at residents and ambulance as masked bikers aim for cars
Gangs of feral youths prowled the streets of Niddrie on Bonfire Night aiming fireworks at residents, cars and an ambulance.
Shocking footage emerged from the ongoing disturbance shows balaclava-clad thugs aiming fireworks at groups of people standing at the side of the road. Some of those on the street duck for cover as the rockets explode. Another video shows fireworks being set off in the street as cars brake to avoid the explosions.
Members of the public are being urged to avoid the Niddrie area, and locals are being warned to stay in their homes as first responders continue to deal with the disturbing event.
