UK news: Six people taken to hospital after car crashes into campsite and hits campers
Nine people have been injured after a car crashed into a campsite close to a Welsh beauty spot. Emergency services descended on Newgale Camping, close to the seaside village of Newgale in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, last night .
He said that there were around 15 emergency vehicles in attendance. He said: "There are no fatalities and from what I understand none of the injuries are life-threatening but I would say some are certainly life changing." "I think one baby was saved purely by the fact it was in a cot." The ages of those injured has not been confirmed, neither has the severity of their injuries at this time.Dyfed-Powys Police tweeted: "We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision, which saw a car crash off the A487 and into a campsite in Pembrokeshire last night . At shortly after 10.30pm calls were made to emergency services reporting the collision at Newgale Campsite.
"We are especially interested in any dash-cam or doorbell footage which may have captured the vehicle being driven from Roch to the scene of the collision at Newgale. Can you help? Please, let us know."
