, the actress has been cast as Carole King in the film adaptation of Broadway show Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, which chronicles the singer's life and career.director Lisa Cholodenko is helming this one, and has co-written the script with Stuart Blumberg. Carole King herself reacted to the casting in a statement that reads:"Daisy has a spirit and energy that I recognised as myself when I was younger. She’s a tremendous talent and I know she’s going to give a great performance."
