A pipe bomb-type device has been made safe after being found during a security alert in north Belfast.
Part of the Antrim Road was closed for several hours after a suspicious object was found near Willowbank Gardens at about 16:00 BST.The alert has now ended and the Antrim Road has fully reopened, with the police thanking the local community for their "patience and understanding".The PSNI said the device has been taken away for further examination and appealed for information.
