He passed away on Boxing Day
A long-serving councillor who “brought a tremendous amount of experience and wisdom to his role” has died. Councillor David Jenney, who represented Rushden South on North Northamptonshire Council , died on Boxing Day.
NNC’s leader Jason Smithers said Coun Jenney, whose widow Barbara also serves on the council, will be “sorely missed”.Coun Smithers said: “This is very sad news indeed and our thoughts are with Barbara and all of their family and friends at this very difficult time. “His death will be a huge loss to his family, friends and colleagues at NNC and in the community. He will be sorely missed.”
