This is not Duston Village Chippy’s first accolade
A Northampton chip shop has been named the Best Fish N’ Chips Establishment in the Midlands. Duston Village Chippy, in Northampton, has been recognised by The Food Awards England 2023.
This is not the first award the chip shop has received from The Food Awards either. In 2017, it was also the winner of Takeaway of the Year in the Midlands and the overall winner of Takeaway of the Year in England. The award ceremony, held on Monday, October 9 at The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre, recognises and rewards talent in the English food industry. The winners are selected based on the votes of the public, who nominate their favourite restaurants, takeaways and pubs across various categories.
