Gex is heading to Xbox via Limited Run Games' Gex Trilogy...
The platforming adventures of the lovable gecko, Gex, are heading to Xbox Series X|S via the Gex Trilogy, which includes Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko."Tail time is imminent. Through the science of the Carbon Engine, Gex fans will be able to revisit Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko on modern systems for the first time!"
As announced during Limited Run Games' recent live stream, the Gex Trilogy is coming to Xbox. We were only given a teaser however, which can be seen above, so we'll need to wait a little longer to see the classic games in action on the Carbon Engine, as well as find out when we'll be able to play. Developed by Crystal Dynamics, Gex was originally released in 1995, followed by Gex: Enter the Gecko in 1998, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko in 1999. The series follows the protagonist Gex, a gecko with a passion for television, as he attempts to stop the cybernetic being known as Emperor Rez from overthrowing The Media Dimension.
