He was a man who 'worked hard to provide for his family'
A fundraiser has been set up for a Nottingham man who was tragically killed in a construction site incident this week. More than £70,000 has so far been raised for the family of Jason Waring, who had worked as a supervisor at the construction site since 2018.
According to EDF Energy, the "construction traffic incident" occurred during "planned work activities" at the Somerset nuclear power station, and the incident is being investigated by both the police and the Health & Safety Executive reports Somerset Live.Avon and Somerset Police were called to the site of the incident at 8.30am and a man in his 60s has voluntary turned himself in at a police station in connection to the events of last Sunday.
