One of the three victims of a major incident in Nottingham has been named as cricket player Barnaby Webber.
Barnaby is one of two 19-year-olds who were killed during attacks in the city centre in the early hours of this morning. It’s said he and the other teen victim, both students, were walking home from a nightclub at 4am when they were stabbed in Ilkeston Road,At a press conference Chief Constable Kate Meynell said it was believed the older man’s van had been stolen and was driven at three people in Milton Street.
One man remains in hospital in a critical condition while two others suffered minor injuries following that incident.Chief Constable Meynell said Nottinghamshire Police is still in the ‘early stages’ of the investigation and they were still working on determining a motive for the attack.
