Nottingham weather updates as more heavy rain and hail forecast

Two flood alerts have been issued for the county

The Lightening Maps website showed red alerts for lightening over the area earlier this morning, heading towards Newark.

Looking ahead for the rest of the day, the MET Office is forecasting more rain to fall throughout the day until around 8pm.Two flood alerts have also been issued for the county, meaning flooding is possible and urging presidents to be vigilant.
