Nottingham: Man dies in hospital after boxing charity event
The man had been a participant in an evening boxing charity event at Harvey Hadden Sports Village in NottinghamA man who suffered serious injuries during a charity boxing match has died in hospital.
The boxer was taken to Queen's Medical Centre but his condition deteriorated and he later died, Nottinghamshire Police said.'Thoughts with family' Participants - both men and women - receive eight weeks of training at a boxing gym before they are paired with an opponent of similar weight, age and ability.
