Drama has already unfolded before the festivities have even begun at the National Television Awards, which are set to take place tonight, Thursday 13 October.
Initially the NTAs were set to take place on 15 September, but as a sign of respect to the late monarch, the awards show was pushed back by a month. Taking to their shared Instagram story, the pair quipped that they “even get ill together” as they showed two positive Covid tests. Following on from this controversy, ITV bosses were said to be concerned that the pair could be booed by crowds if they choose to attend this year's award ceremony.
